ERTRAC 20 Years Anniversary Conference

The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC) celebrated its 20th anniversary, hosting an evening reception on 5 July and the anniversary conference on 6 July. ERTRAC is the European Technology Platform (ETP) for Road Transport. EUCAR was one of the founding associations 20 years ago, with CLEPA, the association of the automotive supply industry; EARPA, the research providers association, and CONCAWE, the European fuels companies. CCAM Association’s members gathered for its 7th General Assembly

The Connected, Cooperative & Automated Mobility Association (CCAM) is an international not-for-profit organisation. Established in 2021 to support creating a more user-centred and inclusive mobility system and to increase road safety while reducing congestion and the environmental footprint, it now counts more than 200 members. Project in Focus: TranSensus LCA

The project TranSensus LCA aims to develop a European-wide harmonised, commonly accepted life cycle assessment (LCA) approach for zero-emission road transport. LCA, in general, is a tool to calculate a product’s environmental footprint over the entire life cycle (starting from natural resource acquisition via the production and use stage to disposal and recycling).
