EUCAR Reception and Conference 2019 – Presentations
Brussels, 8 November 2019 – EUCAR conference ‘Navigating a New Era of Mobility’:
The European Council for Automotive R&D (EUCAR) celebrated its 25th anniversary by looking back at hundreds of EUCAR projects that delivered real world benefits to society. Even more important were the timely discussions with experts on the current and future challenges facing Europe’s automotive sector. The future of road transport is being redefined by digitalisation and automation. This will change how we move from A to B, and the way vehicles are used, sold and owned in the future. Connectivity will enable entirely new levels of cooperation between all players in the mobility sector, including vehicle operators, road users and authorities. Demonstrating the incredible pace at which the automotive industry is transforming and the key role of research and innovation (R&I).
