European Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva to deliver keynote at the EUCAR Annual Event on 26 November 2025

We are honoured to announce that Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, will deliver the keynote speech at the EUCAR annual event 2025, titled “The Future of Automotive R&I.”

The automotive industry navigates challenging transformations in digitalisation and achieving our sustainability targets. We have a key role in advancing technologies through research and innovation as the most invested sector in Europe.

Commissioner Zaharieva’s keynote comes at a pivotal moment. With the Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the Automotive Industry and the development of the Automotive Industry Action Plan underway, we welcome the European Commission’s engagement in addressing the critical challenges facing our industry.
