Roadmaps

In 2013 EUCAR compiled its research and innovation roadmaps for Horizon 2020, laying out a strategic programme for collaborative automotive R&I in each of the priority domains of our sector.

For each EUCAR Strategic Pillar and Strategic Platform, our Expert Groups, guided by the Strategic Pillar Groups and the Council, compiled the roadmaps. In each roadmap, the specific steps for R&I activities are set out along with the key milestones to be reached through research, pilots/demonstrators and eventual commercialisation. These milestones ensure strategic coherence within the roadmaps, supporting a consistent programme of activity from research to commercialisation.

The milestones also ensure coherence with the strategic objectives for EUCAR R&I, expressed as strategic vision statements for each Pillar.
